School Aims

If you are keen to get started then go to the 'Register for Lessons' option and fill in your name and address details.

We are able to source many young, professionally qualified musicians to teach in our scheme to ensure that music is kept alive through enthusiasm. It is important that we can relate to young people in a way that is spontaneous and encouraging to ensure they remain interested.

If a student can relate to the teacher they are more likely to respond to instructions required to learn their instrument.

We have had great success with this method of teaching for many years.

Please make sure that you have an instrument before starting lessons unless starting on the Kodaly scheme.

Music is a very gradual process, daily practice even for a few minutes is important, this will certainly ensure that you get good value for money from your music lessons.

Courses

The exam course we follow is ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal School of Music)

There will be considerable preparation especially for younger students before embarking upon the exam course.
